The zoopharmacognosist is trained to recognize distinct behavioural profiles exhibited by animals in response to plant secondary compounds and minerals. They also provide the owner with information on the properties of the plant extracts. They do not diagnose, give advice based on a diagnosis or provide treatment. At all times it is the owner working with their own animal. They enable animals to express natural behaviour.
