October 2009 Cat CPD Weekend. Review by Wendy Price
Some people are born to teach and Sam Davies is one of them! I've just spent the most fascinating weekend learning about cats and to a large degree how to help myself and other animals remain healthy! Sam is passionate about her subject and shares her knowledge with enthusiasm, generosity and most of all with a natural ability to link all aspects of animal health and nutrition in such a manner that you are able to grasp the subject. Sam encourages you to look at how to help an animal by stepping out of the box in respect of the conventional way of thinking and piece together the clues that your cat presents you with - an invaluable tool if you want to help cats or indeed any animal. I can't recommend this course enough - we were all clamouring for another weekend, as one is just not enough!
Tom has researched and incorporated a significant body of scientific information into the correspondence modules of this course. He will present an overview of the concepts he addresses in the pharmacology module.
This is a rare opportunity to meet Tom, to ask questions, obtain clarity on points that you are unsure about and to generally discuss the science behind this fascinating subject. Whether you are currently working with the Essential Oils in Depth and/or Botany Modules, you have questions relating to these modules, or you would just like to know more about the science of zoopharmacognosy, you will find it a very useful day.
If you wish to attend please inform the office so that we have an idea of numbers.
Parasitical work with horses and an update of information ranging from legal to new discoveries and way of working.
